Combining the best aspects of Pilates, yoga, strength training and ballet, BARRE is fun and effective full body workout that focuses on tiny movements that work under-worked muscles to fatigue. Our barre workouts are designed to tighten and define muscles you didn't even know you had.

Not a dancer? No problem! Absolutely no dance experience is needed for the class. As long as you love music and want to get your burn on, we would love to see you at the barre.

Kristen Pickell

Kristen has been teaching barre classes since 2010 in Vancouver as one of the first instructors at a well established studio. In 2007, Kristen graduated from London Studio Centre in London, England with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Theatre Dance and in 2013, she passed her Cecchetti Ballet Associate with Distinction. Since moving to Kamloops, she has been teaching dance at a number of local studios, and is excited to be continuously developing the BARRE Kamloops curriculum.
